Christian Nonduality and the  Biblical God

    Addressing Religious Compatibility and Violence
Marshall addressed concerns about the compatibility of non-duality with the Old Testament God's violent nature, specifically in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Marshall clarified that true Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are religions of peace, and the violence perpetuated in the name of these religions does not represent their true teachings.

    Divine Reality and Scripture Interpretation
He also claimed that every scripture, when taken literally, distorts this divine reality, but at its best, it serves as a window to this nondual reality that is the heart of all spiritual traditions.

    Non-Dual Perspective on Gaza Conflict
Marshall discussed the ongoing conflict in Gaza from a non-dual perspective, emphasizing the importance of understanding the suffering and complexities on both sides. He urged compassion and love towards all parties involved, rather than aligning with one side or labeling them as 'good' or 'evil'. He spoke of the importance of non-dual awareness in achieving lasting peace and encouraged spiritual people of all faiths to embody peace and speak out for it.

    Pain and Nonduality

I got an email from a man who is in constant chronic pain. He asked me to do an episode on the topic. I talked about the OT Book of Job and the Problem of Suffering a while back, but this man was talking about something less philosophical and more practical. How do we deal with pain, especially when that pain is intense and continuous?

    Nondual Repentance

    Nondual Repentance

I have talked about repentance before in a nondual context, but I have not dedicated an entire episode to it. So today I am. The call to repent is normally talked about in moral and ethical terms, but that is just the surface of it. When followed to its end repentance is a path to spiritual awakening. It is the door to what Jesus called the Kingdom of God. Jesus said, “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”

This episode has a discussion of the difference between awareness and consciousness, including a discussion of this topic by Nisargadatta Maharaj.

In this episode I explain how to interpret the apocalyptic passages of the New Testament from a nondual perspective.

Non dual awareness is the Tao of Christ

I'm grateful a friend connected me to Marshall Davis' YouTube channel and podcast in early 2022. In the evolution of my faith in recent years I was looking for better "right" answers. Certitude and the dualist nature of growing up in a fundamentalist cult, followed by years in evangelical churches, convinced me there WERE right answers and I had to find them....even as evangelicalism was showing the rotting of its roots across the movement in recent years.

I read, listened and watched a lot of good material but Marshall Davis speaks truth in a winsome way, with no NEED to please anyone, so I've grown to trust him. There aren't many writers and talkers in media who do that. I've read all his books on Kindle and am beginning to re-read them. Thanks, Marshall!

Wow! So thankful to Marshall!

I am so thankful to have found Marshalls podcast and his books on non duality and Christianity. My path was from zen, tibetan buddist, hatha yoga, advaita vedanta, non duality, Sufism back to christian mystics. I believe in one ultimate truth which is common to the real core of all these. So thankful to find more people sharing their experience and love. 🙏🙏🙏

Part the veil…

I’ve been listening to The Tao of Christ for a couple years now. I grew up with the teachings of Christ but never connected with the Christian church. After surviving a lot of tragedy and seeking a new way to live I found the practices of Yoga and Meditation. I began to learn about eastern teachings such as the Tao, the yoga sutras, and the Gita… these teachings reconnected me to the teachings of Jesus Christ and I began to see that God is bigger and greater than a single perspective. For the first time in my life I felt like I could feel the presence of God and an undeniable connection to all life. Marshall Davis does an amazing job cutting through the illusion of western religion and getting to the heart of what Jesus Christ was trying to tell us. We are all the children of God. Realize the kingdom of God is within us… heaven is here and now. Thank you Marshall for taking the time to share! Love, peace, and joy be with you!
