Paige and Martha welcome a very special guest, Diane Shader Smith.  Diane is the mother of Mallory Smith who authored the book "Salt in My Soul: An Unfinished Life." The book is are stories of a remarkable young woman who was determined to live a meaningful and happy life despite her struggle with cystic fibrosis and a rare superbug—from age fifteen to her death at the age of twenty-five.  Diane relives many memories with Paige and Martha.  A truly, super CF Mom.

Paige and Martha discuss the art of communication.  Too many times we listen to people to be prepared to respond, we don't actually listen to what people are saying.  In the CF community we need to be able to communicate with so many individuals...from family, to doctors, to insurance companies, and even with other CF Moms.  Taking a step back and doing your best to understand what people are telling you could actually make your life much easier.
