Episode 271

Wow, what a show this was; we invited a few friends of ours, Jenner Wilson and Cyrus Janssen, to come on and hang out. Why them? Well, both were in Augusta for the Masters and on-site during the tournament.

They shared some great insights into what it is like being on the grounds at Augusta, from no cell phones to concession stands, the merchandise, the gnomes, and everything else you can imagine when it comes to being at The Masters.

We typically like to run for about an hour, but this one kept going, and we promise you, you will enjoy it!

Since we're very far away from getting a media invite to cove the Masters, we decided to try and bring some of the South, West, so we invited our friend and highly talented craftsman, Joel Leopard from Atomic Golf (not the driving range, the OG Atomic Golf) to hang with us and talk all things Augusta.

Joel is based in Akin, South Carolina, which is about 20 minutes from the town of Augusta, Georgia. He's been around the Masters for YEARS and shared some great stories about this time of year in the South.

The Vegas Golf community lost a great man this past weekend.
Ron, aka DBLR (Double R), was a presence in the community and will be missed. While we didn't get the opportunity to tee it up with Ron while he was with us, many of our friends and followers of the show did. EPISODE 268

Another new golfing venue opened its doors this past weekend, and we were on-site at Atomic Golf Las Vegas for the Media event before the doors officially opened on Friday.

Matt, Dan, and Joe were there, and there was a lot to talk about. Atomic Golf, a competitor to TopGolf, Drive Shack, and the other Golf Rangemertainment facilities, has some features we were excited to see and some we knew were going to be basic.

A Yellow Golf Ball won on the PGA Tour for the first time since..... Stat Guy is still trying to find out.

We looked river the field at The Houston Open and who's in for The Masters. But there was little to no talk about The Valspar, mainly because none of us watched it.

The Vegas Golf Networks' second tournament of the season took place over the weekend out at Primm Valley, and we, of course, had to talk about it!

Episode 267

Matt has tried but still hasn't made it through season 2 of Full Swing on Netflix. This sparked a great conversation about how the show could be better for true golf fans.

The Players was epic, which was exactly what the PGA Tour needed as we entered the Major season. It didn't hurt that a hurting Scottie Scheffler did his thing and became the first-ever back-to-back Players Champion.

Matty G gave us the weekend FOREcast for the VGN event at Primm Valley, and we shared some info about the tourney.

Joe was asking, "What defines a Major?" and had all of us stumped! It looks like we have some Golf Homework for next week!

EPISODE 266


It's The Players Week, and we invited our friend and Florida native, Trey Sanders, to come hang with us and talk some golf.

The Legacy Golf Club got a lot of press this week. Matt, Joe, Jeremy, and Trey all played there on Sunday, and for Trey, it was his first time around the course.

It was nice to hear Trey, who could be considered a course snob, have some nice things to say about The Legacy. It's a fun course with a great routing and some very challenging holes.

Next up, we dove head first into Full Swing 2. While Matt, Jeremy, and Dan have yet to watch it, Joe has already finished the second season, and Trey is almost finished with the show.

After that, we got into some Player's talk. We had a round of Trivia naming previous champions back to 2009. Trey relived some of his fondest memories from the many times he's okayed the course, Joe went over the odds for the tourney, and we all picked who we thought would hold the trophy on Sunday afternoon.
