We're back! After an 8 month absence we are finally coming back with a triumphant return to talk about... the critically panned latest entry in the SPUMC, Madame Web, and Matthew Vaughn's spy comedy-thriller Argylle.

Sam also gets into the new Bob Marley biopic One Love, David Fincher's The Killer, and Lewis talks about Oscar darlings Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon, and The Zone of Interest.

Join Sam and Lewis as tackle the cultural phenomenon that is Barbenheimer. First up is Greta Gerwig's Barbie, a meta-comedy starring Margot Robbie, Hugh Grant and Ryan "The Gozzer" Gosling; after that, we look at Christopher Nolan's biopic Oppenheimer which boasts Cillian Murphy as the titular nuclear physicist. We also review Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 and discuss the SAG-WGA strikes.

Will Lewis still maintain his usual level of MCU-apathy or will Gunn's style manage to win him over? In addition to this, the gang take quick looks at horror 'requel' Evil Dead Rise, and charming quintessentially-British Jim Broadbent heart warmer (that apparently isn't just The Duke again) The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

We are back! Our main events this week are the blockbuster box-office smash hit The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the divisive Dracula film Renfield. We also take a brief look at some of the big films we have missed because of Oscar season: John Wick Chapter 4, Women Talking, Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods, and Creed III. Lewis also gets into his horror era and talks about watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Last House on the Left, and Halloween, and more for the first time.

In the second episode in an Oscars trilogy we take a look at the 95th Academy Awards ahead of the ceremony this Sunday. We discuss the films nominated, some of the biggest snubs, and most shocking nominations, and make a few predictions.
