Customer Reviews
Good storytelling, too many ads
Basically title. The storytelling is really good, with great resources and guest speakers. But 4 3-minute ad breaks in a 27 minute episode is way too long.
None of the reviews are lying about the ads
The ads are so disruptive and very long. The episodes are short to being with and the actual episode is about 50% ads, and I’m not exaggerating. I DNFed after like the fifth episode because it was hard to follow with all the constant interruptions. And I know the zodiac story well! There are 2-4 min ads at the beginning and end of every episode and at least two ad breaks during the actual episode that are also usually 3-4 mins long.
I am all for podcasters making a living and don’t fault the vast majority of creators for using ads, I’ve used the promo codes several times to support them, but this one is excessive to the point of annoyance. Please reconsider how you finance your show as you’ve lost me as a listener over it and it sounds like many others as well based off the other reviews.
Way to many ads.
Way to many ads to properly engage with the storyline. I get it to have an ad or two in the beginning and maybe one or two more short ones in the middle. But to have 3-5 one mi ute or so ads in the beginning and in the middle is way too much.
