True Crime a la MST3K
Discovered this through Unresolved and thought Jesse was interesting and hilarious. Really enjoyed listening to the guys rip apart terrible true crime schlock. Would love to hear them review In the Line of Duty: The FBI Murders—if only to hear Jeff’s take on a favorite from my childhood (featuring Burt Gummer himself in a truly disturbing turn). The Town that Dreaded Sundown. Wolf Creek. The Ryan Reynolds Amityville remake. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The 1968 Boston Strangler. Keep up the good work, guys.
Bingeable True Crime Fun
Discovered through Michael Whelan’s Unresolved Podcast, TCMC is lively discussion of those terrible movies and TV docudramas all true crime fans are forced to endure. Each host brings something unique and different to the table. Disorganized in a relaxed “just friends hanging out” kind of way, it breaks down these cinematically less than brilliant endeavors in an easy and amusing format. Bonus points and a Patreon pledge for calling out Mike Boudet for the piece of garbage he is. Keep ‘em coming.
