Mauricio Einhorn: A Life in Music, His Favorite Harmonicaists, "Batida Diferente", Advice for Learning Jazz Harmonica, Toots Thielemans
My guest today is Brazil legend harmonica player and composer Mauricio Einhorn. Mauricio has written world-class classics, such as: Batida Diferente and Estamos Aí. His songs have been recorded by Tom Jobim, Cannonball Adderley, Herbie Mann, Paquito d'Rivera among many other greats. It was a huge honor to talk to Mauricio and share a few notes over Corcovado with him at the end of our conversation.

Yvonnick is a great music teacher
Boaz Kim is inspiring to hear. As a new harmonica player, I am intrigued by other harmonica players. Boaz has gone deep into the darkest part of harmonica playing. Meaning the depth of his music in the lower register of the harmonica is compelling.
I wonder if he has been influenced by Asian or African instruments. Does his culture influence his approach to the harmonica?
