Will and Phoenix feel like Friends
I just binged 2 years of this pod in about 2 weeks. I love Kingkiller and after my 2nd read-through I was looking for more related content. Will and Phoenix are so nerdy and fun, they’re cat people, and they just seem nice. I love having their voices in my ears talking about Kingkiller in a really socially thoughtful way. We would totally be friends in real life. Thanks for podding with us!
Literarily Niche
One of my favorite aspects of a good podcast is that it fits into a niche. It usually means the audience and community behind them are full of good people. TFTW and its hosts are based around one of my favorite books, and its single sequel and novella. This is a nice way to keep the interest alive as well, as we wait for the finale novel to eventually arrive. I found the show through Twitter, and it afforded me the chance to see just how kind the hosts are. They definitely earned their pipes.
So I am left in your debt
Thank you for the fun of catching up to you. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for making me feel like there are people out there with the same interests as me. 😇
Perfect in this time when... we’re all trying to find our way.
