Clever, earnest, and funny!

I learned about Unsound Theories after the podcast's mysterious producer Emma appeared as a guest on another podcast I love called Cynical Cartoons (on the episode about "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs"). Emma endeared me to her humor and personality on that episode, so I figured she would keep good company...and I was right! Kat and Kira are both super entertaining and comforting to listen to, and their conversations have me cracking up at least a few times per episode.

This podcast is a perfect example of how taking a clever idea [let's watch a movie with the volume muted and no subtitles and try to describe the plot to people] and executing it totally earnestly [let's actually try to do this without getting side-tracked halfway through and giving up talking about the movie] will result in a really great podcast that's super fun to listen to.

Probably not everyone will enjoy this podcast like I do, but I think it's absolutely worth subscribing to so you can give it a listen and decide for yourself. I recommend starting at episode 2 just because that's what I did, and it went great for me. But I've enjoyed every episode I've heard so far, so you can start wherever you want.

**Little ears warning: this podcast is calm and measured in a disarming way that makes it hard to anticipate when adult language and discussion topics are about to show up. This isn't an issue for me because I don't have children, but I can imagine it might catch some new listeners off-guard. The cohosts don't immediately sound like they'll get as raunchy as they sometimes do.

Anyway, it's a great podcast. I can't wait to hear more!
