Like a friend holding your hand

Charlotte Mason’s works are hard to swim through, if you’re a beginner. I follow along in my book as I listen to this podcast and it helps me SO MUCH. If I get distracted by my little people, I just press pause, but I’ve made progress. This is in contrast to reading on my own, where my mind may wander or there is a need in the household, and I think I haven’t understood a thing and so them come back and reread what I’ve already been through. I never make progress this way and then give up in defeat. Miss Mason’s works are important and this is helping me to get through volume 6. As I go, I am finding it easier and easier to make sense of the cadence and sentence structure on my own, thanks to hearing it.
Thank you for doing this! It’s like having a friend to read along with you. I hope there are other volumes read aloud like this.
