Nonviolent communication is a process that consists of an intention to contribute to our own well being, and the well being of others, compassionately.

So that whatever we do is done willingly, not done out of guilt, or shame, or fear of punishment, or trying to buy love, by submitting to what we think others expect us to do.

That we give solely out of the joy that comes naturally from contributing to life. Our own life and the lives of others.

Life changing

Years of self shaming, perfectionism, negative messages towards self have been debilitating to the point of intense depression and anxiety. I am so grateful for Marshall’s message and concrete tools to learn empathy towards myself and others. I am delighted and thrilled because these tools are meeting my needs for having a way to communicate with myself and others in a way that is joyful and playful and respects myself and others. I get excited just thinking about any chance I get to practice these tools while having conversations with myself and others.

So wonderful!

Something we need for our personal lives to live the lives we want, have better relationships, and a better world. I recommend starting at the beginning and being slim a calm space when you’re listening.

Deeply impactful

This is the most inspiring podcast I’ve heard in my life. It exposed me to a life philosophy that very much helps me access happiness in the world.
