We're on a roll here at Have You Scene? with our 4th review in about 1 week. This time it's a Sci-Fi/Adventure/Thriller starring John David Washington that drew our attention. I'm back with Reese for this one and we both were captivated by the trailer while being concerned that it may show too much. However, we each agreed that it did not show too much and we enjoyed the ride the film took us on.

Hit play to find out if you should check it out too and if you've seen the movie, stick around for the spoiler conversation.

    It Lives Inside Review

    It Lives Inside Review

Bibs and Tyler are back with yet another horror movie review. This one is from a director with 1 degree of separation from Tyler, which is how it ended up on my radar. It Lives Inside has a somewhat traditional horror/thriller setup but with some Indian-American cultural details that make it feel more fresh than a run-of-the-mill horror film. Great performances by the cast also elevate this film.

Did Tyler and Bibs think this one was worth your time? Tap in to find out.

    Non-spoiler section: First 16:34

Starring: Megan Suri (Never Have I Ever), Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan

Additional Cast: Betty Gabriel (Get Out), Vik Sahay, Gage Marsh

    Directed by: Bishal Dutta

Written by: Bishal Dutta, Story by Ashish Mehta

    Quick synopsis:

An Indian-American teenager struggling with her cultural identity has a falling out with her former best friend and, in the process, unwittingly releases a demonic entity that grows stronger by feeding on her loneliness.

    Talk To Me Review

    Talk To Me Review

Bibs and Tyler are BACK with yet another horror movie review. This time it's Talk to Me, a horror movie out of Australia from the minds of two brothers who are popular youtube creators. The film marks the cinematic debut for the pair as well as the majority of their cast but the film did not feel like amateur hour.

Our boys did not fully agree on this one so tune into the review to see where they each fell.

The first 27 minutes is the non-spoiler review and there is a bonus conversation about the movie after the outro music.

Starring: Sophie Wilde as Mia, Alexandra Jensen as Jade (The Messenger), Joe Bird as Riley

Additional Cast: Zoe Terakes (Wentworth), Chris Alosio (The Messenger), Mirando Otto (Lord of the Rings Franchise)

Directed by: Danny and Michael Philippou

Written by: Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. Many cast and crew members got “based on a concept by” credits

Quick synopsis: When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

Love, the show

I really like how lay back and technical Bibs can be when reviewing movies. He comes in well prepared and isn’t afraid to say he missed certain things in the film. It’s really refreshing hearing a new voice on movie reviews.

Quality Content

I have been following Michael’s content and whether its music, film, shows or just daily social/political takes - he never disappoints. Respectful, funny and well informed episodes that make every listen worthwhile.
