When we talk about being comfortable, very rarely does depression come to mind. That sounds dark, and lonely, and scary - who would be comfortable in that? But did you know that when it's the only thing you've ever really known, that anything outside of that - especially joy IS uncomfortable. Adrianne is full of life and knows all there is to know about fitness - or at least that is how it seams. She is always ready with a tip and her favorite exercise is simply breathing. You'd be surprised at how healing and strengthening breathing is. But there was a time when she was a slave to her body, more specifically the ideal body she thought she needed to earn value. Whether you've struggled with over-eating, under-eating, or comfort eating - Adrianne's story is for you. Listen as she takes you through her journey from weight-watchers at just 12 years old, to eating only vitamins for days on end, to finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel when she realized that it's not just an eating disorder - it's a heart disorder.

This episode broke me, in the most beautiful way. Tarah's story had me speechless and wanting nothing more than to hear more of what God has shown her in the last 20 years. Her peaceful voice carries with it decades of pain mended by God. She has experienced unspeakable tragedies and is walking in joy on the other side. I want to also be clear that I am not anti-police. On the contrary, I have never had a problem with loving the police. However, I have never been not the wrong end of police brutality or misconduct. I believe there are honest, just, and righteous officers out there, in fact, I have some in my family and in my community who I know love the Lord and do not condone the behavior of the unjust. I do not believe to be anti-racist is to be anti-cop. I am for justice and for anti-racism. The color of your skin should not be a death sentence no matter the circumstances.
