When your startup hits a one in a million scenario and early stage problems @1987active
Today’s episode I chat about my brand 1987 a Boston-Based, Boston-inspired active-loungewear company and our second collection launch. We sold out of two designs in less than an hour on launch day and well I couldn’t be more grateful for our epic reception just a few months into building the brand. That said there’s so much we could be doing better so I take a deep dive into the problem sets we are facing and how to sold for them. Early stage ventures are quite precarious creatures so I share my experience as an entrepreneur who makes mistakes and how I adapt and rectify them. My hope is that this episode helps those of you who want to start their own business!

Customer Reviews
Authentic and fun
Jen shows up to every episode as her authentic self. She covers a wide range of topics with true honesty and sharing her own personal journey in a way to help others. The diversity of subjects keep her podcast fun and interesting. There’s no way after listening to not be rooting for Jen.
Raw and honest storytelling
Jen’s such a masterful storyteller because she tells it like how it is. The level of honesty really makes her episodes appealing. Her ability to be introspective reminds me to take time to self reflect more often.
Refreshing and entertaining
Story telling is good and the ability to self reflect is exceptional. Jen comes up with relevant and contemporary content that people can relate to.
The audio quality could improve a bit since the volume goes up and down during the episode and sometime it’s hard to hear. There’s also some repetition of content amongst different episodes.
