Shane Talks Shane M. White

In what Shane calls "The Worst Week of 1999" he takes a look at two films that really don't help his argument for it being the best year in the history of cinema. First up is the absolutely terrible film "Instinct" where Shane takes a look at the plot of the book, and then the ridiculous premise of the film. Following that, he discusses a film that he actually enjoys: John Sayles' "Limbo" - and he discusses how the final frame of this film has bothered him for the past 25 years.

Shane returns to Shane Talks '99 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the films released in 1999. Shane begins by looking at the Richard Curtis written rom-com "Notting Hill" and discusses his love for Curtis' writing. Things then shift to the very underrated sci-fi drama "The Thirteenth Floor" - which was critically and financially unsuccessful, so Shane digs into the reasons he didn't like it back then, but after a re-watch thinks he knows what went wrong in 1999.

Shane and Jason get together to chat about their home state of Indiana. The guys look at a long list of films and TV series that are set in the state of Indiana, then they run down a list of fictional characters and real-life entertainers from the Hoosier state. Finally, they talk about life in Indiana and various things they do for fun.

Shane and Jason are joined by Chris Meek for their fifth annual May the Fourth episode of the podcast. The group chats about Blue Milk, Batuu, Video Games, and the TV offerings from the past year. Shane pays tribute to his friend Jedi Master Samir Samoris, who recently became one with the force.

Shane and Jason are joined by Jason Richardson and Troy Myers to do a Music Draft of songs from 1999. Shane takes his obsession with 1999 to a new level, when he picks seven categories, and asks the guys to attempt putting together the best "Side A Mix Tape" for music that was released in 1999. This leads to a heated debate over The Backstreet Boys' "I Want it That Way".

Shane and Jason go on a magical dude's vacation with some friends to Walt Disney World, where they enjoy riding the movies and geeking out with all things "Star Wars" related at Smuggler's Run, amongst other destinations. They share photos and stories form their adventure, after they discuss some Community Poll Results, and other Disney-themed topics.
