African American women deserve to be heard. In this episode, Coco & Breezy sat down with their good friend SHAVONE (@shavonec), a renaissance woman who continues to disrupt the norm as a classically-trained musician and tech agent, to share their personal stories of how they handled the intricacies of being minorities in school and on the job. They also shared how they used those vulnerable moments as opportunities to speak up for themselves and be heard. 

SHAVONE just released her latest project called: #BlackJoyMatters.

Eleven years ago, Coco & Breezy made the difficult decision to quit their jobs and move to NYC from Minnesota with less than $1,000 in their wallet. Fast-forward to today, this dynamic duo have built CoCo & Breezy Eyewear, a exponentially successful global brand and business, they’re lighting up the music charts as DJs & producers, and are in the process of building multiple other businesses. 
In this episode, Coco & Breezy reflect on all the lessons they’ve learned in their 20s, all the obstacles they’ve conquered, and what they hope to accomplish in this new chapter in their lives.
