Nixzmary Brown was a 7 year little girl who was physically and sexually abused by her stepfather Cesar Rodriguez. On January 11, 2006 Cesar beat Nixzmary to death while her mother done nothing and watched.—————————————————————————Episodes will get better in sound quality. I am new at this so it is hard.

Good job. As far as I can see you’re the first podcaster to cover Nixmary Browns story.
Hi,I remember her story vividly. I just turned 18 that year and was living in my first apartment. Watching it on the news was just devastating. She was such a beautiful little girl. She looked a lot like my best friends little sister. I always say a prayer for her if she happens to cross my mind randomly. The NYC system let her down so pitifully. Her whole life was stolen from her. I can only hope no more children have to endure that. This story was also what got me interested in true crime books,shows,and now podcasts. You did well and I hope you make more
