    4. Amy Conachan

This week we speak with the wonderful Amy Conachan. Amy is a stage and television actress who graduated with a BA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2015 and has since worked companies including Graeae and A Play, A Pie and A Pint. From 2014 - 2016, Amy played the part of Laura in our "rude, ribald and
hilariously off-colour" sex comedy Wendy Hoose, written by Johnny McKnight. As if starring in one of our shows wasn't enough of a career highlight 😉 Amy is now best known for playing science teacher, Courtney Campbell, in the Channel 4 show Hollyoaks.

The discussion covers how to rehearse 'finger-banging', how Glaswegian gags translate to a Spanish audience and the differenceof working on a play compared to a TV soap.

    3. Caroline Parker

This week we chat with renowned Deaf performer Caroline Parker. Caro has performed with BOP in a few shows including our 2017 adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Steadfast Tin Soldier as a children's Christmas play.

In addition to acting in numerous productions for multiple theatre companies, Caro also performs in the cabaret and comedy circuits and is part of the disabled stand-up comedy collective Abnormally Funny People - whose other members include Lost Voice Guy and Liz Carr. Another of Caro's impressive attributes is that she is a skilled song signer, and has worked at many gigs and festivals signing live acts - including the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games at London 2012 - in fact, she's so prolific, she's even done a TED talk about it.
