Ripple Effect a Million Times Over
I am a former athlete who had the privilege of playing for/learning from Barb. Back in 1995, she was a force. Until now, I had no idea that she had this history with Bev. Barb has inspired thousands of female athletes to achieve greatness with her inspirational message, her work-ethic, her modeling and her grit.
Through a CSUN alumni newsletter, I came across an event and went down the rabbit hole to learn about Barb’s story. I have “binge listened” to the 6 seasons of Always Bev.
This podcast should be required listening for teens and young women.
But seriously…We have to figure out how to fix the way we are raising boys in order to avoid so many of them turning into predatory men. There is a societal aspect that enables the behavior. I found myself frustrated and angry the entire time because 50% of the population should not have to live with this fear.
The message of INTUITION should be ingrained in all girls at the moment when females start to waver-Middle School.
These survivors are incredible. Thank you for sharing and keep going with your mission of awareness. I’m listening all the way from Spain.
