Customer Reviews
The best, simply
All the details, none of the wasted chatter. Bonus, relatively few commercials.
Still a great show, but prefer the longer format of early episodes
I discovered this show last year and started listening from the first episode in order. The early episodes are fantastic with lots of detailed information and audio clips that made it stand out amongst the many other crime shows out there. Now the episodes are much shorter with less info and feel a little lacking. I also find the geographic trivia at the beginning of each episode unnecessary. Still worth listening to and the host does a great job of presenting the facts in a fast-paced manner with just a touch of cynicism.
So confused
I wanted to listen to the stories but its a hard listen. The story just starts right after the commercial ends and you have no idea what he’s talking about. Its like he’s reading from a book but we dont know what its about. Usually podcasts stories start with an idea about what will be discussed, but he just jumps right in with any information.
