The One About Moms Being True to Themselves
On today's episode, I invite, Summer Rigtrup, Connection Coach! Summer coaches mom's who want to be their true authentic selves.
Summer and I discuss what brings true fulfillment to us as mothers, whether that be working from home or going back to work. There are so many things that can bring true fulfillment to us, but it is a matter of knowing and understanding what it is that we deeply want for ourselves. What do we want to offer to the world. At the end of the day, we are mothers, and being a mother is such a fulfilling role. We are also women, whose passions can extend outside of the family dynamic. It is possible to have both.
Summer shares some amazing tips on discovering or re-discovering your passions. This is such a powerful episode because both Summer and I have both been stay-at-home moms and although that particular path did not suit us, we were able to go out and discover what passions we do have within that allow us to maintain balance for us.

The One Where a Mom Grieves Over the Loss of Her Son
On Today's episode, I introduce you to Rachael Cyr! An amazing mother and blogger, uplifting other mommas by sharing stories of successes and failures.
Rachael lost her son due to an unknown birth defect in and around his spinal cord that was then triggered when her son began working through tummy time and physical therapy.
Rachael shares with us the experience of what it was like to lose her son at such a young age and how she was able to cope.
Although Rachael's story is incredibly tragic, she continues to speak about her son on her blog and by appearing on podcasts such as these. I am in awe of Rachael as a mother, to continue talking about her son's story and encouraging other mothers who may be experiencing loss, is trule admirable.
