Excellent Podcast

I have been familiar with Mike’s work but his recent interview on Rick Beato’s YouTube channel showed how advanced a musician he is versus the “guy who does the one man band” stuff. There is a ton of content on Mike’s website that shows the full range of his talents.

He also has great relationships with other acoustic guitar players and this is where the podcast comes in. Interviews are friendly but not just two musicians rambling. Mike is very good at getting other guitar players to talk technique, gear, etc. Seems a pretty humble, genuine person that is easy to listen to.

I just bought tickets to see Mikes play in the Washington, DC area in January. I am obviously a fan and highly recommend the podcast.

Another great Avenue in guitar

Being a resident of the US & new to fingerstyle guitar I wasn’t familiar with some of the artists. However, I really enjoyed the interviews & banter he has with his guests. Thank you & please continue doing this!!! Guest suggestion: Mark Kroos... you’d love him. Big thanks to Tonewood Amps for sponsoring this great artist. May you someday fill William Shatner’s Pants!!!

Binge-worthy!

I’ve been working on fixing up my house and have been listening to Mike’s podcasts back to back to back—making the work fly by! Great stuff Mike, keep it up brother!
