this past month has been filled to the brim with back to back health appointments. i've always been the kind of person to avoid going to the doctors, even if i am in pain. however, the time has come for me to finally address everything. in this episode, i'm reflecting on aging, physical pain, my overall health, and why it's important to value your body.

    my breast lump

    my breast lump

a few months ago i found a lump in my left breast. it's been a frustrating process, to say the least. i'm sure it's fine, but docs haven't been able to give me an answer with 100% cerntainty, and i'm not sure how to resolve that! nobody likes uncertainty, so why is it so hard to figure this out?! in this episode i talk about what the journey of ultrasounds and second and even third opinions has been like. i'm definitely not a doctor, nor am i very knowledgable about breast cancer and breast lumps -- this is just my personal experience. this is also your reminder to give yourself a self-examination every now and then if it pertains to you!

today we're talking barbie: the doll that once took the world by storm is making a comeback in popular culture thanks to the new "barbie" movie featuring margot robbie and directed by greta gerwig. a commentary on the patriarchy told through characters we're already familiar with, viewers responses have fallen all across the spectrum between love and hate. to some, it was life changing. to others, it fell flat. and for me—a proud feminist who shows her period blood on tiktok? well, i had some thoughts...

Great content! Sound mixing could use work

Great show! I’ve listened to every episode from the beginning. Love the varied content and the addition of recent guests. Nadya is always a fresh voice I look forward to hearing from. But the sound mixing could use some work. This week’s episode, no matter whether played from Apple or Spotify, or using headphones or a speaker, seems to be only right balanced? In previous weeks, I’ve had to turn the volume way up to hear clearly and crisply, nearly blowing out my eardrums when a different podcast came on. Otherwise, great podcast!!

💕💕💕

This podcast makes me feel safe. I don’t know how to express myself well but this is the feeling I get when I listen to Nadya and her sisters. Thank you for creating this podcast 💕

Fearlessly honest and relatable! MUST LISTEN!

What I love about this podcast is that it feels like we’re listening to our friend talk. There’s nothing dramatic about mental health and its a conversation that Nadya so beautifully is able to express and confide to her listeners. Nadya is an all round woman and her journey is impressive. So hearing her talk about real issues that she faces, brings a great deal of humanity and perspective. A MUST LISTEN for anyone instated in expanding their emotional spectrum!
