    Brooke Monaghan is a consultant, business mentor and coach for "purpose driven, impact focused entrepreneurs". Her goal is to help people create sustainable businesses that align with the life and business they seek. Brooke's work focuses on helping business owners and team leaders unlearn the conditioning that has them ditching their instincts, intuition, and integrity. Brooke went to business school and shares, " I quickly felt like I didn't belong there...the message I was getting...if you're not driven by having a "Lexus producing job"...you're not going to make it here...it was unlearning that narrative that allowed me to move forward...what FIRES ME UP now...letting them know the quicker they can break down that narrative...the more open to success they're going to be".  

    Brooke has noticed that a constant with all the people that she works with is that "they're not just driven by money, they're driven by making an impact and making a difference with the people they work with".  She believes that entrepreneurs are some of the most well-equipped change makers we have!  She urges people just to "walk it back a little bit and remind yourself why you're doing this...we are bombarded with all the things we are are supposed to be doing, all the things we are told create a successful business...we need to set it up in a way that's sustainable and one of the best ways we can do that is to stay focused on what really motivates you". A marketing tip she shares is "if you can stop trying to do things the right way and instead just come back into yourself and remind yourself why you're doing this, and come from a place of honesty & truth, you're going to get so much further".

    Victoria her MVP formula, "It's an inside job and the outside shows us where". If there is something out there that you don't like the first step is to "become aware of it and when you see something that irritates you , frustrates you...the first thing to do is to STOP, notice...and then to acknowledge it...irritation, frustration, anger all come from (your) expectations not being bet...it's about looking back inside".  You have to look within, self doubt is what gets in the way of your goals.

    On this weeks episode, Linda Eskridge owner/founder of "Couture Business Gifting", shares how incorporating gifting into your marketing plan can enhance your relationships with prospects, clients and employees. Linda started out as an executive assistant for 25+ years. Part of her job responsibilities were to find gifts for clients. She struggled to find items of value that adequately represented the client. Another challenge she faced early in her career was that she was told in order to grow her business she "had to do it this way or that...one day I kind of just sat back and I had this "aha" moment and said I have to do this for what I'm passionate about and what works for me and just because it worked for them it's not going to work for (me) and that's OK". Linda's philosophy for success is to be authentic to yourself.

    What gets Linda FIRED UP is educating people on the gifting life cycle. She feels relationship building starts from the first time you meet the prospect not at the end of the transaction. It's "about building relationships through gifting and how important that is...creating an experience, not just a gift...from the moment they open that gift, THAT experience starts".  Linda shares, "I'm about helping you stand out from your competition in a memorable way".

    Fred Diamond is President and Co-Founder of Institute for Excellence in Sales. This global organization was created with a mission to help Sales Leaders attract, maintain and motivate their top tier sales talent. At the start of his career he worked for corporate marketing and also outsourced himself as a Chief Marketing Officer.  While doing this he found that, "most companies were hiring me not because they had marketing problems but because they has revenue or sales problems". The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) was created with this in mind; shifting his focus primarily to VP's of Sales. The networking events that he created allowed him to meet and cater to VP's of Sales but HOW could he meet MORE? This is how his PODCAST, "The Sales Game Changer" was created. "My customers were VPs of Sales...I need to get VPs of Sales to understand what we do...I knew I needed to be physically in the room with them...how do I get in the room?"  Fred found VP's of Sales willing to be interviewed in their own offices. During the podcast interviews, sales leaders shared their sales journeys & careers. The podcast accelerated his pace very quickly, tripling the size of his business. "I was making a connection with sales VP's who saw benefit of what we do". A message that Fred would share with fellow entrepreneurs, "You've got to be out there...you can't be sitting back waiting for things to happen". 

    Fred also has a passion in building awareness on Lyme Disease. He has a loved one affected with the disease, "I had no idea how insidious the disease of Lyme was and other tick borne illnesses...1 out of 7 people in the planet has been or is affected by Lyme Disease". 

    Fred is publishing a 2 books on 8/15/2022, "Insights for Sales Game Changers" and "Love, Hope, Lyme: What Family Members, Partners, and Friends Who Love a Chronic Lyme Survivor Need to Know."

    On this weeks episode we feature Partner and Marketing Director of "One Thing Marketing", Brittany Murphy. Brittany shares how this Louisville, KY born company started from the ground up. "It was just the two of us for the first 2 years or so...our journey...we have to grow...we have to fill in the spots where we need it...what is the next spot we need and how much do we need to make internally to make that work". As most entrepreneurs know, growing a company is NOT easy. Brittany agrees, "It's been a great journey...a rough and long one... I look back on those times and see, ok, that was a struggle...but we got up, we picked ourselves up and we tried the next task".  

    When asked what she loves about what she does, she shares that initially her background (ironically) was not in sales but she now loves the sales side of things. "I get to meet everybody one on one, I get to learn about their business...when we connect, I can clearly see what we need to do, I have the picture...when you have the relationship and the trust...that's honestly the most beautiful part about what I do...they are allowing us to take that burden off of them and do everything we know we do best!"  

    If there are some words of wisdom that Brittany would pass along to fellow entrepreneurs, "Fear is a reason people don't take action. If you're scared to take the next step because you don't have clarity...stop thinking you're in this alone...find an expert... be consistent to build momentum...a marketing campaign...if you are running it for 2 weeks you're never going to know if that works."
