My Favorite Podcast
I’ve been listening to Punk Frockers for a couple years now, and it is my favorite podcast to listen to every week. I love it so much that I recently went back to the beginning and started over from the beginning as well as became a Patreon, so I could get bonus episodes.
Beverly and Jenny talk in a way that makes it feel like you are sitting with friends chatting about every aspect of our favorite hobby: sewing. I appreciate how they talk new patterns, what they are working on, successes and failures in sewing, what’s going on in the sewing community, and interviewing a variety of people with different perspectives and experiences with the sewing community.
Social justice oriented sewers
What a wonderful show. I am a twenty four year old trans masculine sewer who has been doing mainly costuming for twelve years. My mom has gotten into sewing in the past few years and all the content she enjoys and tries to share with me is very much in the realm of straight, cis, skinny, white women who consider themselves “quirky.” This show really feels like a place where I can have social justice oriented critiques of the broad sewing community, abundant resources, and honest and compassionate dialogues
Punk Frockers
I love listening to these two ladies talk about sewing clothing in particular, life in general, clothing fitting bodies or rubber stamps. One my favorite podcasts!!
