Unpacking My Privilege is a resource for intersectional feminists who want to change the world. Each week, Shanell Peterson (she/her) works to unlearn her privilege by listening to activists and educators who hold marginalized identities. We also amplify entrepreneurs, artists, and creators who are doing amazing things in a segment called "Hypegirl!" With a little nod to Peggy McIntosh (who's most known for her writings on white and male privilege) and a heavy focus on Kimberlé Crenshaw's concept of intersectionality (which was made by and for Black women) we can make a major difference on this planet together!

She is an Arab gender researcher and poet who has been studying women's oppression for over 10 years, and she has written numerous books including the poetry series The List of Shit That Made Me a Feminist.
