Blood of the Summoned Philip D. Adams

A paranormal historical thriller that puts the "evil" in medieval. With the Anglo-Saxon King on his deathbed, rebellion brewing in the north, and the Normans preparing to invade from the south, an ancient evil has awakened that rules the night and plots a conquest of its own. A dark twist on traditional gothic tales woven into actual historical events makes this exquisitely produced audio drama seem horrifyingly real.

Loved it
The voice acting and music reminded me of a 90s rpg. I mean that as the highest compliment. I’m sure I’ll listen to it again in the future
Even scarier and creepier than the book!
I read this book a couple years ago and loved it. Full of bloodthirsty vampires in complex storylines, all set in an historically accurate medieval backdrop. The pacing is excellent, and the twists and turns will keep you glued. The podcast makes this amazing story even more engaging. The audio production is top notch. The book has been morphed into a dramatic serial reminiscent of radio shows from the past. There’s beautifully crafted thematic music, voice acting, and sound effects, which all serve to intensify the drama. I highly recommend this podcast - and the book - to all.
A Dark but great audio drama!
This is a great audio drama with good voice acting and some great audio quality! I’m two chapters in already and am hooked to this historically dark story. Definitely give it a listen
