Chapter 1 | The Mage, Eyfre

Chapter 1 | The Mage, Eyfre

The Mage, Eyfre, prepares to leave Lakewall with a new crop of students headed to Iro to become students of The Mages Consortium. She is no stranger to traveling in the large caravans that travel between the settled areas of the continent, but doing it in comfort is something of an oddity for her.
Her attempts to adjust are interrupted by an old - and odd - acquaintance, and she recounts a story filled with half truths.

A wonderfully unique podcast with an uncertain future

I believe i first found this Audio drama when the creator first began in 2021. It was like few other audio drama’s and is more like a free audio book. I was hooked by the setting and story the creator established and i’ve listened to every episode on Spotify by now. The story has intrigue, unique characters, Wonderfully evil villains, truly inspired worldbuilding and amazing narration. I would highly recommend all readers to give the audio drama a listen. But as one may see when looking through the episodes, the creator ceased releasing more episodes of the podcast on September of 2021; i am writing this review almost a year since he stopped uploading. From all the research into the show’s social media, i have found that the podcast has not received enough attention for a podcast of this quality, and the creator has not posted any updates on the future of the podcast. The podcast’s future is uncertain and there is a distinct possibility that the creator has stopped production all together. I have my hopes that the creator will one day restart production once the podcast has reached a larger audience, but as of now it is only my naïve hope. If the creator sees this review, i would like to thank you for a high quality audio drama which few others compare, even if it only lasted a few short months.
