Unfiltered, Down to Earth and Hilarious!
I came across this podcast while looking for another podcast with a similar name. Of course I was surprised when the audio was different and the voices were unfamiliar but dare I say, I like this podcast MORE than the other lol.
Anibae’s Anime is hosted by a group of POC friends who met in an online anime group that appears to have disbanded (I HOPE we get to hear about it soon lol). They have really good chemistry and a very grounded opinions on anime culture without buzzwords and frills. It’s like sitting with some friends and just chatting!
In today’s over produced and curated podcast-sphere it’s refreshing to hear a group of ladies take a break from real life and just give a real speel on weeb culture without a bunch of dancing around. There’s cursing, missteps and unfiltered content and I LOVE IT!
If you like raw and hilarious anime takes and have that connection to culture and lifestyle then you’ll LOVE Anibae’s Anime. Get in at the ground floor while you can :)
