In the most recent episode of Outside the Room, CG Funk welcomes guest Marshall Dahneke to discuss his journey that created The Jacquelyn Project in memory of his daughter. Jacquelyn Dahneke Penrose was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and her Dad Marshall walked the path alongside her. This included shaving his head, overhauling his diet, and even taking up one of her fitness hobbies, running. Although Marshall is mourning the recent passing of Jacquelyn, through that love The Jacquelyn Project was founded to keep her legacy alive. In this episode, Marshall discusses why he has partnered with the Massage Therapy Foundation, how that led to running the Boston Marathon this year and how massage is used to provide therapy to those suffering from cancer and cancer related challenges.
