City Schools of Decatur Superintendent Dr. Gyimah Whitaker joins Decatur Dish to talk about key issues facing families.

Nearly 18 miles of BeltLine will be available to community members by the June 2026 FIFA World Cup, city leaders announced.

The 17.9-mile path, which will connect Atlanta’s westside from Piedmont Park to Westside Park, is expected to be completed months ahead of the major soccer event.

One of the bills the governor signed into law will provide $6,500 a year for children who live in school zones where the schools are failing — if their parents choose homeschooling or private schools.
