    Introvert Superpowers: Empathy | S02E21

    Introvert Superpowers: Empathy | S02E21

This week we explore another introvert superpower: empathy. The English word empathy was first used in 1908. It’s a translation of the German term einfühlung, which literally means “in-feeling” or “feeling into”.
Empathy is a natural human ability, yet it’s one that has largely been lost. As children, we are taught to value reasoning over feeling. We learn to suppress or deny our emotions. This reduces our ability to experience our own and other people’s feelings.
However, empathy can be a superpower – especially in business. The ability to appreciate how your clients feel about your marketing and products leads to superior customer experiences. Which in turn can generate accelerated business growth.
At the end of the day, we’re all humans sharing the same highs and lows. Understanding this and bringing it into our work will help us create a more compassionate and resilient business world.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode:The surprising origins of the term “empathy”.Why empathy has become a lost art in the modern world. How to develop empathy as a superpower. Why it’s important to maintain boundaries while practicing empathy. How empathy can help you create loyal fans and a more impactful business.

Tyler’s story is inspiring. He shares how his early childhood experiences motivated him to start working out from the age of 9. Then later led to him joining the military where he discovered how to confront his limitations.
Listen in to learn how exercise can ultimately lead to a greater sense of peace and calm.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode:How Tyler overcame the belief that he was not smart enough to start a business. Why your desire to grow needs to be stronger than your fear. How Tyler used his childhood experiences to motivate him to push his limits. The link between physical exercise and your inner beliefs and self-identity.How to open your heart and find peace through exercise and mindfulness.

    Introvert Superpowers: Contemplation | S02E19

    Introvert Superpowers: Contemplation | S02E19

This is the second episode in a series I’m doing on introvert superpowers. Last week I explored intuition. Today we look at contemplation.
Where intuition can be fleeting, contemplation happens over an extended period. Intuition initiates and contemplation develops.
Contemplation is a way to hold an idea or concept in your awareness. It requires the left and right brain. And it happens in the present. It’s not the same as concentration, but it’s more active than meditation.
Listen to today’s episode and discover how you can develop contemplation into a superpower.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode:What contemplation is and how it relates to meditation and mindfulness. How to use contemplation to find answers to challenging questions and develop ideas. Why living a contemplative life brings you more peace and calm. How to heal negative patterns and triggers through contemplation.Three exercises to help you develop your superpower of contemplation.

    Introvert Superpowers: Intuition | S02E18

This is the first episode in a series I’m doing on introvert superpowers. These are natural abilities you have as an introvert. They may or may not be gifts that you’re currently aware of.
This week we’re exploring intuition. I love this superpower!
When you start listening to your intuition you learn to trust life. And when you act on intuition you unlock your greatest gifts.
As an introvert you’re naturally drawn inwards – you process the world by going within. And this is where your intuition lives… deep inside your heart.
Your intuition can speak to you in various ways. It looks different for each person and it’s something you must experience for yourself to understand.
Listen to today’s episode and discover the different ways your intuition might talk to you and how you can develop it into a superpower.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode:The difference between intuition and analytical reasoning and why you want to balance the two.How to tell when intuition is talking to you versus fear. Why following your intuition will help you unlock your greatest gifts.Three ways your intuition can talk to you (through feelings, thoughts and symbols). How to develop your intuitive superpower via a daily practice. How to apply to join my new mastermind, Growth Circle.
