The Mary Tyler Moore Show - S4E7
This week on "the worst of the best," Stephen takes us through an episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" that didn’t quite hit its usual comedic mark. Titled "Son of 'But Seriously Folks,'" the episode features Jerry Van Dyke as Wes Callison, a comedian who tries to give up stand-up comedy for a job at WJM. While Van Dyke’s performance shines with his trademark humor, the episode struggles to maintain the series' typically sharp comedic pacing and character development. Tune in for a lively analysis of the highs and lows in the life of a TV classic.

Customer Reviews
Good show, needs more west wing
Do you have nostalgia for old tv shows? Does it make you feel warm and fuzzy to remember your childhood?
Then boy do I got a show for you!
Those were the days takes four friends, adds in some comedy, some tv and a life audience (on twitch at 2DorksTV) and makes and hour or so of bliss every Monday night at 9pm est.
Then catch the episode in your podcatcher
It dives into the show, the plot points and the trivia. Then gives you hosts opinion.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll have a good time going back to the bygone era of tv, be it gunsmoke, greatest American hero or Seinfeld. Still, no west wing but they’ll get there.
I give this show a five out of five just for existing. So give it a listen, you won’t be sorry.
