Very real
I love the way James speaks to different industries while focusing on one or two. Every listener can gain insight into the marketing work that is often overlooked.
Many times, when budget cuts happen, M&A is the first on the chopping block. Because many of the things performed are not visible or directly correlated to a sale. But, without a solid foundation and system in place, shotgun marketing will fail.
James has been a friend and colleague for years and I’ve watched his process along the way. He has great advice that comes from decades of experience. This podcast hasn’t even scratched the surface yet.
Love the counterbalance!
James does a nice job offering a marketing plan for his guest and people listening, but then has an intraindustry conversation about how to do it. His guts may or may not agree with his perspective, but the conversation is real and good. I like how James focuses on word of mouth first.
