SLASH Season 2: The "A Nightmare On Elm Street" Franchise
In 1984, writer and director Wes Craven unleashed a new kind of horror on the world. A new kind of killer. One where the only way you can truly be safe - is by staying awake. Little did we know then - but that one film would spawn a franchise that consisted of nine feature films, including a 6-movie series, a reimagining, a reboot, and crossover with another famous killer. There were television shows, video games, and even record albums! This franchise also created an iconic superstar in one Freddy Krueger.
For season two of SLASH, I will be watching all nine of the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movies, and who knows - maybe there will be a surprise or two along the way. Please subscribe. Please listen. And for god’s sake please, whatever you do -don’t fall asleep…

Halloween Ends (2022)
Welcome to SLASH - A Horror Movie Podcast! With our first season I watched and discussed all of the films from the HALLOWEEN franchise - starting with the original 1978 classic and finally ending (for now?) with the 2022 Halloween Ends. In this episode I couldn't wait another day. I had to see what all this hubbub was about with the "final" installment of Halloween. And now I have. Yippee.
THIS is the season one finale of SLASH - but fear not, season two is right around the corner....

This Guy Sounds Smart
Wow! What a podcast! I didn’t realize former male models could also be that good at podcasting. And if you’re asking, no I am not the host of this show sadly adding his own review so this brand new amazing show finally has a first review. That would just be tragic. Imagine reviewing your own podcast? Nope…um…That’s definitely not me hosting this amazing show with a voice as smooth a as Kenny G. sax solo. It’s clearly someone else hosting.
Not me.
Sincerely,
Me.
