It's a very vulnerable position to say, you know what, today I really actually need you to say out loud that you love me. You know, whatever, you know, you don't have to have done anything wrong or screwed anything up. Just sometimes we really have a need to say out loud, I need to audibly hear you say, I need to physically feel, I need you to show up right now to this place and tell me that I am loved. On this episode of the CCM Deep Dive Podcast, Jennifer Knapp recalls her inspiration from t...

One of the best CCM podcasts I have heard!

I don’t know who exactly does this or how long it will continue - but it takes an in depth look at each song of classic CCM albums. It is also packed with musicians giving stories behind the songs, their band history, and other fun stuff. After each feature the full track is featured for a great listening experience. Full confession that this review is based on the deep dive of best CCM album Whiteheart Freedom. Stunning to me that the is much detail is still out there all these years later. Look forward to the other albums listed - and whoever is doing this - please keep up the great work!

Interesting and insightful!

I always love hearing more about the stories behind art and creative pieces - and ESPECIALLY from artists and creators who are inspired by the ultimate Creator Himself! This podcast is such a gem and it’s so cool how it sheds light on the “behind the scenes” of these works, from the artists themselves. So eye-opening and inspiring, and points you back to Jesus and truth!!

Left Wanting More

This was tremendous! As one untimely born I did not get to witness this incarnation of White Heart (or any for that matter) live. Being born in 1988, I am perhaps, among a few individuals who are my age who not only love this album but would include it in their all time top 5 list. It has been a blessing to me in many times in my life. I cannot say how many times I sat in my car whether driving or just sitting parked and singing Over Me or The River Will Flow with everything that was in me due seasons of my life where the words blessed me. The only negative (and it’s not major) to this was there was obviously much more that could be said about the music writing/recording and the lyrics. Oh to have a sit down and talk to this group of men about it all, what a treat it would be. Thank you to the podcast creators and the Tommy, Ric/Rick/Riq/Rik, Mark, and Gordon for sharing about this all.
