Well I’m dead now

I have been following Lesbian Death Bed on Mastodon for a while now and just learned that it’s a whole radio drama podcast. Amazing, lethally funny, for I am now dead.

My Sides Ache From Laughing

This series is so cleverly scripted and acted. I’m not usually a person who laughs out loud, but I have to listen to this in solitude, because I’m known for freaking out my wife with random bouts of loud laughter. It’s not just the jokes though. It’s all the subtext of the authors in the way they’re portrayed. The writers clearly have an excellent grasp on the source material and their original creators. (And I deeply approve of all the satire, and the abuse they heap on controversial individuals. Looking at you, HP Lovecraft.) Brilliant. Just epically brilliant.

Special hats off to their season finale, in which Hailey Piper knocks it out of the park as She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
