Parallel points on pivotal universal issues

As a social scientist, Erski delivers a genuine and realistic novel encompassing universal concerns. Issues involving corporate control over a country and exploitation with low cost labor, unstable working conditions and basic human rights. The story is filled with true parallels that in fact apply to our everyday existence as well as the unfortunate corruption that comes with status and power both politically and socially. Reading between the lines will expand the readers awareness of global challenges. The corporate world's "race to the bottom" on the Island of Salavandra is an honest and heartfelt account of the people's struggle to fight for rights and the power of hope to "be the change" they wish to see in their world. Deep, as well as compelling it will be hard to put down. Emerging with insight and multiple perspectives are granted to readers by the stylistic ideas through the authors wholistic and fair understanding of globalization and industrialization. A must read for anyone interested in seeing the big picture. Enjoy!
