A huntsman helps an old woman and is rewarded with an unusual way to get gold coins and a cloak of teleportation. A witch steals them from him but he outsmarts her with lettuce that turns people into donkeys and marries her daughter to live happily ever after.

Listening for a second time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
I’m on my second listen-through of this podcast! The reader’s voice is soothing enough to occasionally help me sleep yet expressive enough to be entertaining. Some of these stories clearly are not for children - in fact one or two had me wide-eyed and ready to turn on the light. But on the whole I have always liked the Grimm fairy tales, and this collection of readings is one of my favorite ways to enjoy them. Hoping more will be added soon!
