NLU Podcast, Episode 316: Henrik Stenson

Henrik Stenson has often been one of the most requested guests in our podcast history, and he's joins us to chat about his new podcast, growing up in Sweden, emerging from not one but two enormous slumps, and of course the 2016 British Open. We talk breaking clubs, how he spends his summers, the new tour schedule, the challenge it presents for Europeans, and a lot more. Thanks a lot to Henrik for the time.

Thanks a ton to our partner Charles Schwab for feature Rob in their "Challenger" series which you can find at www.schwabgolf.com.

"The Match" returns, pitting the Big Cat and Peyton against Phil and Tom Brady this Sunday at Medalist. In our preview show, presented by DraftKings, we talk with Jeff Neubarth, the producer of The Match, about what to expect with the television product, JT, Barkley, the carts, the mics, and a lot more. On the back end, we share our thoughts on the format, whose partner we'd rather be, Brady and Manning as pro golfers, handicaps, and a ton more. NLU Podcast, Episode 311: Carnage Tournaments

NLU Podcast, Episode 311: Carnage Tournaments

We dove into the annals of history to each find a past event that featured some special carnage. We detail where things went wrong (or right, depending on how you look at it) in course setups, the high scores that ensued, the funny occurrences, and of course the classic quotes. The events include the 2004 US Open, the 2017 Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, the 1901 US Open, the 1979 Players Championship, and the 1999 Open Championship. This was a lot of fun.

U.S. Open recap

Love the content, but have you ever counted the number of 'likes' per episode? Had to bail completely during a recent show. You guys don't write like that! With just a little effort, you can present a much more listenable product.

Again, WAY too many 'likes'. Aren't you guys suppose to be way above average when it comes to stringing words together? Listen back: my ears are bleeding.

Like, same complaint. You guys are smart & know your golf. But relisten to JT's comments. He's neither a writer nor a podcaster. But doesn't include more 'likes' than a 13 year old girl. Considering how critical you all are of TV coverage, it's probably beneficial to review your product before uploading it for public consumption. Being a little more aware of what words are coming out and/or a little post pod editing would make it, like, SO much easier on the ears.
