Thank you for joining us for installment 4 of 6 in a miniseries focused on showcasing the various types of business models that exist within Fibrenew.Nashville area franchise owners, JT Thompson, Mat Meade, and Mark Chasteen are not only Fibrenew friends and neighbors, they are true business partners. When all three of them were getting to a point where they were spending too much time in the business, instead of working on the business, they all knew it was time to hire an admin. So, they banded together and hired a shared admin who now quarterbacks each of their businesses handling inbound phone calls, emails, and texts, creating quotes, handling scheduling, invoicing, and much more. It took a load off their shoulders and helped make way for them to generate more business each week.In this conversation, you'll hear how JT, Mat, and Mark have structured everything with their shared admin, how the technical logistics work, how they pay her, and also just how valuable and vital she's become to their businesses. We hope you enjoy listening in as there are many great insights to be had, cheers!
Owner + Technician + Admin Model in Fibrenew Vancouver (Episode 3 of 6 in the Fibrenew Business Models Miniseries)
Brian Fitzgibbon owns and operates Fibrenew Vancouver. He purchased the business in 2010 and for eight years ran the franchise as an owner / operator - taking care of everything in the operation. Doing the repair work, fielding all inbound inquiries, marketing and sales, handling the scheduling, billing, bookkeeping and more. He reached a point to which wearing all those hats was not sustainable for the long haul. So he made a switch and hired an admin to quarterback the organization and day-to-day logistics of running the business. Fibrenew Vancouver was transformed the moment Erin Jackson came on board. She helped pave the way for Brian to do more work, which increased his revenue, stayed more organized, was able to take proper vacations, and have more family time.In this conversation, you'll hear how Brian and Erin have structured everything and about Erin's changing role in the business today which continues to open up more opportunities. Robert & Chelsey Pegram: Entrepreneurial By Nature
Robert and Chelsey Pegram, are Fibrenew franchise owners in Virginia. They vibrate with entrepreneurial enthusiasm and energy and they simply love what they do!
Prior to coming on board with Fibrenew, the couple was running their own landscaping business but were having issues finding their place in a very crowded market and were stagnating due to what Robert refers to as a lack of support and resources. That's where the systems and support of a franchise looked appealing to them and they decided to make the switch and started Fibrenew Hampton Roads in August of 2021.
They have lots to share about their journey and offer some sage advice for fellow entrepreneurs looking to start new a venture.
