3 IN, 3 OUT: The Most Valuable Cranny (MVC) Goes To . . .

3 IN, 3 OUT: The Most Valuable Cranny (MVC) Goes To . . .

Two wins in a row officially counts as a streak, right? It doesn't matter. We're going streaking! Seattle was starting some negative streaks, too. The same issues we watched in Week 1 appeared again against New England. Two of the biggest issues? The Seahawks struggled on their final drive of the first half and they continued to struggle to pressure the quarterback.
Is a second straight game with a catch enough to get on the Swain Train? If you saw him catch that pass and turn up field and didn't think he was Tyler Lockett - you're a liar.  Thanks to Russell Wilson, another receiver gets recognition for an IN and the recognition of the inaugural Most Valuable Cranny award.

RECAP: Seahawks vs Patriots - A new goal line moment to remember

RECAP: Seahawks vs Patriots - A new goal line moment to remember

Despite taking a 12-point lead into the final four minutes of the game, the Seattle Seahawks found themselves in a defensive standoff at the goal line in the final seconds of the game. After rushing for two touchdowns in Week 1, Cam Newton added two more on the ground against the Seahawks. With one yard to go, the Seahawks defense was able to make a stop when it mattered most. Field Gulls managing editor Mookie Alexander and former managing editor John Morgan join the podcast to talk about Seattle's first game at CenturyLink Field this season. Russell Wilson threw for five touchdowns in the game. It was something he hadn't done since 2015. Yet, overall, it was a more balanced offensive approach compared to last week's game against Atlanta.
If there is one area on defense to be concerned with over another, is there a bigger issue with the secondary or the defensive line? Seattle has now given up more than 800 yards through the air, and next week they'll face Dak Prescott coming off a 450-yard passing performance. There was one bright spot for the defensive line in this game. We discuss that, and a lot more, in this week's post-game recap.

Patriots preview: Belichick's sub packages may push Seattle to run the ball more

Patriots preview: Belichick's sub packages may push Seattle to run the ball more

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots both won their Week 1 matchups, but they did it in very different ways. Russell Wilson attacked the Falcons defense through the air while the Patriots did most of their damage through the run game. Cam Newton may not have to change his approach this weekend against Seattle, and many Seattle fans will be tuning in to see if Pete Carroll reverts to a run heavy approach considering the strength of the Patriots defense. Mark Schofield of the Scho Show, part of Pats Pulpit on SB Nation, joins the show to preview the Sunday Night Football game coached by two of the NFL's best over the last decade.

Seahawks injury report updates, Patriots preview, Week 2 picks

Seahawks injury report updates, Patriots preview, Week 2 picks

This show begins with a look at the injury report for the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots ahead of Friday's final practice. Jamal Adams was listed on the injury report with an elbow injury, but was a full participant in practice.  To recap Sunday's win and preview the Seahawks Week 2 matchup with the Patriots, Brandan Schulze joined Anthony Nachreiner on the Nach on Sports to talk about a shift from the test for the secondary versus Atlanta to a test of the Seahawks front seven against the Pats. Brandan and Anthony close the show by running through their Week 2 picks.

BJPester ,

Great pod

I love 3 in 3 out! And I was so excited when I heard Jamal Adams was traded to the Seahawks!! I think they did good in it because the Seahawks should not be drafting in the first place🤣🤣🤣🤣I got so surprised when they drafted jordyn brooks! So absolutely they should trade all of their picks for DEFENSE!!! Or pick up more people on the defensive side in free agency/draft. Thank you gents for doing this you are helping make quarantine much easier! Catfish the 49ers and GO HAWKS!!!

Amazing Show!

Sad to hear you’re going to be slowing down post draft as this has been one of the things really providing joy during this pandemic... BUT you deserve a nice break as well and I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve given these past few months!
Go Hawks!

Best since Danny Kelly

Kenneth was good and Danny Kelly is a fricken God. Brandon is definitely looking like our next Danny. Or as close as a mere mortal could be.

Also, after becoming such a valuable part of our quarantine life and constantly churning out podcasts EVERYDAY for over 5 weeks and counting, I salute you. Not one of em felt forced, every minute entertaining and thinking about something besides Covid.
