For, like, really serious adventurers. If you're thinking of going pro with the whole hero thing but lack confidence, this is the podcast for you. It's a twice-weekly, mostly-fictional fantasy podcast that considers keyword stuffing to be a lost art form. (Fantasy Podcast, DnD Podcast, Tabletop Gaming, RPG Podcast, Dungeon Master Podcast). Adventure with a show where the quick wits are almost as fast as the magic missile hits. If you’re a fan of storytellers like Douglas Adam, Yahtzee Croshaw, or Monty Python, we suggest you go listen, read and, or start a Reddit post about their wonderful work. But, if you have five minutes to spare and have been perma-banned from Reddit, then maybe listen to our tales of swipes and ill-fated plans instead of swiping on Instagram. Or don’t, honestly. You’ve got to decide if you really need another podcast in your life. I mean, odds are this one won’t be around for any longer than a month or two anyway.

Oh hey, dungeons are dangerous, and so is listening to podcasts. That’s why we self-rate our shows. That way, if you have kids, aging parents, or complex sensibilities, you can make sure that listening to Fight Dragons Win Prizes is right for you. The good time goblins gave our show a PG rating. We NEVER use traditional curse words or swears, and DO NOT vividly describe the effects of combat or "taking that dungeon date back to your shanty." We also believe dungeons are a place for slicing and dicing, not for talking politics or the personal beliefs of the pens pushing the stuff that barely counts as entertainment. With that said, you can expect lots of gross combat and complicated love triangles. There’ll be plenty of moderate descriptions of heroic acts involving swords, axes, claymores, daggers, morning stars, throwing stars, potted plants, and the occasional food item. Jokes are part of any good tale of slaying, so expect the occasional break room appropriate-ish joke (note: This does not apply to break rooms inside companies who mention “HR” or “Weekly Huddles” more than once a month).

Emberlock Cavern - Part 3 - Till Death Do Us Part.

Part 3 of The Emberlock Incident.Show notes were written by my high school archeology professor, Mr. Jones. In the latest action-packed chapter of our grand adventure, the echoes of danger and excitement reverberate through ancient, cavernous depths. Here, Aria Windstill and Marcus, our intrepid heroes, face challenges that test both their wit and bravery. They encounter a Lift Troll in a gripping clash, setting off a thrilling sequence of events filled with unexpected twists of romance and treachery. As they venture deeper into this perilous realm, their courage and resourcefulness come to the fore, promising a tale of high adventure that would captivate any seeker of lost treasures.
In the midst of this turmoil, a tale of love thwarted by fate emerges, weaving a rich tapestry of mystery and personal connections into the fabric of their quest. This element of the story adds an intriguing dimension to their perilous journey, blending the thrill of discovery with the complexities of the human heart. As with any quest for hidden relics, the journey is as much about uncovering truths within as it is about braving the unknown without.

Emberlock Cavern - Part 2 - Two Rings to Rule them All.

Part 2 of The Emberlock Incident.Show notes written by my 6 year old nephew Max.In this super fun episode, Marcus and Aria are having a big adventure in a place called Emberlock cavern. They find out that someone is being really sneaky and taking things that aren't theirs. Marcus finds something really cool and shiny. It's like when you find a hidden toy and it makes the adventure even more fun. Aria starts thinking a lot about Marcus and what it might be like to be best friends forever. She's got a lot of thinking to do about her future with him. The she makes a big oops when she tries to do something good, but it doesn't go as planned. Her parents would be so proud of this mistake. It's like when you try to help but end up making a mess. She even messes up someone's special plan, but it was an accident! Enjoy and like a lot the second part of the Emberlock Incident.

Emberlock Cavern - Part 1 - Dude, Where's My Crystal Staff?

Part 1 of The Emberlock Incident.Show notes were written by my freshman literary professor, Mr. Harbuckle.Greetings, esteemed listeners. You are invited to partake in the auditory experience of 'Fight Dragons Win Prizes,' a podcast that transcends the mere confines of entertainment. In this episode, Campaign the First, is thrust forth like coin into a well of media mogul wishes. Delve into a narrative that weaves together the archetypal elements of fantasy, resonating with the timeless traditions of Dungeons & Dragons lore. The protagonists, albeit unorthodox in their heroism, embark upon quests that serve as allegories for the greater human experience. Their journey, rife with both comedic and tragic elements, becomes a mirror reflecting the folly and the triumph of the human spirit. Through the medium of fantasy, this podcast serves not only as a homage to the genre but also as an exploration of narrative structure, character development, and the quintessential quest motif. Join us in exploring this intricate tapestry of storytelling, where each episode is a study in the art of modern myth-making
