Nobody knows Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad like Brian Davids

Nobody knows Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad like Brian Davids. Viktor with a K is real asset to this show too and combined, you'll learn details and gain perspective that other Better Call Saul podcasts simply don't have. Well done, Brian Davids. Well done, Viktor.

Great if You Like Unbearable Pretentiousness

Notice how these 5 reviews are quite old? There’s a reason for that.Somewhere along the way, one too much people told host Brian Davids, “That’s insightful,” to ruinous effect. His delivery changed, becoming oddly metered, breathy and stilted—really, it’s an indescribable and perplexing transformation.
Now, his every utterance is affectatious and self-congratulatory. Davids barrels over his co-hosts, verbally pushing them aside to speak at length of his own insights, very much as if he’s afraid to be beaten to the punch. His self-described “in-depth interviews” with Better Call Saul writers, directors, show runners and actors are shameless monologues: He answers his own questions, delivering exegesis after exegesis to the stunned politeness of his guests.

There are a great many better meta-viewer podcasts out there. I’m not torturing myself with this one anymore.

Highly perceptive commentary

Very well-spoken and perceptive episode reviews, and great interviews. There is a reason the showrunners respect these guys
