#24: Pull the CURTAINS (1983) with Paul Zaza
This week, it's Curtains (1983) for me! I had the immense pleasure of talking with composer Paul Zaza about his score for the film, as well as his experiences scoring Prom Night and My Bloody Valentine, touring with The 5th Dimension, and being taken aback by the unmatched passion of the horror community.

#23: Better Off DEAD AND BURIED (1981)
This week, join composer Gory Rory and myself as we celebrate one of the finest (and often criminally forgotten) gems of the 80s: Gary Sherman's Dead and Buried. This is one of my personal favorite horror films of all time and I'm so excited to finally be unpacking it here... and I'm not just saying that because it gives me an opportunity to poorly impersonate Macon McCalman.

#22: The Fictional Reality of IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS (1995)
Happy 28th anniversary to one of my personal favorite John Carpenter films: In the Mouth of Madness! This week, Bruce returns to the show to share his first impressions of the film and the Slasher family recommends some scary reads. Also, I lament my lack of Canadian ancestry. Again.

#19: Dark Ride (Haunt Horror Gauntlet #2)
Part II of my thoughts from this month's quest to watch as many "haunt" horror films as humanly (or inhumanly) possible. This week's movie: Dark Ride (directed by Craig Singer, 2006). Also featuring my newfound obsession with late 18th century cow mouths. ______________________ Stuff I mention in this episode: Terror Train Exclusive Official Trailer (2022) This Is Not A Dream: John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness at 35 15 Most Underrated Slasher Horror Movies Fata Morgana @ Efteling The Slasher App ______________________ Scored by Gory Rory. Customer Reviews
Horror podcast based on genuine love for the genre
This is an excellent podcast for everyone, especially those of us who are in our 30s and 40s who want to hear about some of the classics we grew up with, along with movies that came before and after our time that deserve to be seen.
I appreciate the candid, as well as often humorous, conversations Molly has with guests that never feel as though they are gatekeeping the genre, but rather expressing a range of genuine emotions about movies we not only love, but may also have other feelings about.
Taking time to dive into the sociological aspects of high cinema such as The Slumber Party Massacre is right up my alley, and that episode delivered!
One has to give credit to someone who is willing to go out on a limb and give Wish Upon a chance, even when they pretty much know how they may feel, even if Sax Daddy Ryan Phillipe is the only real takeaway. Heck, it finally inspired me to watch it on a not so dark and not so stormy night, and I was even a little thankful because I got a few laughs out of it.
There’s something for everyone who loves horror, but especially so if you share an unabashed love for Jeffrey Combs.

Quickly Becoming A Favorite Of Mine!!
Started following FGF a little while back on TikTok after seeing a co-live she did with Z0mbiebry. I really enjoyed the conversation they were having about horror films. Eventually, I found out that she had a podcast and decided I wanted to give it a listen. I’m starting from the beginning and am currently on episode 3. She’s a fun listen because she’s incredibly insightful and her opinions are laid out very well. While I may not agree with her on everything, I thoroughly enjoy everything about this podcast. Keep up the great work!!
Amazing!
I just started listening and I have to say that this podcast has shot to the top of my list! Keep up the amazing work!
