Delightful and relatable

This is, hands down, my favorite podcast. Teresa is a fantastic host and has found a way to bring this show I watched and loved in college into the realities of how we all got to where we are today. Her vulnerability, and ability to make her co-hosts feel safe enough to be vulnerable, is so refreshing. Definitely my favorite part of the week.

Man, those teenage feels

I’m watching Felicity for the first time along with Teresa. Okay, the show is BONKERS, but Teresa and her guests’ stories of their own college-age awkwardness are hilarious and sweet. I’m either full-body cringing or feeling a lot of compassion for them, myself, and even poor weirdo Felicity.

Not bad, but has some issues

This is a decent Felicity podcast, but I have a few issues. First, the conversation is really Felicity adjacent. They don’t actually don’t talk about the show and specific episode much, and instead the host uses the loose plot of the show to interview her guest. While on occasion the guest is charming enough that I don’t mind, I subscribed for Felicity, not “tell me what your college experience was like.” Further, sometimes the host and the guest state things as fact that are completely wrong. Like that Julie was the girl with Ben at registration (nope). Or that Scott Speedman is British (also nope). Maybe make sure instead of assuming? They’re spreading misinformation. I think I’ll keep listening for now, but it’s not a show I can recommend at the moment.
