Liz chats with her favorite actor Eddie Kaye Thomas for the American Pie movie franchise.
A Long Drive Up the Mountain
Liz and Ashton C. Clarke, a brilliant storyteller and wonderful person whose work can be found on the Risk podcast, discuss cultivating relationships with family members and dealing with loss, as well as the drive to get more personal with storytelling.
In this special episode of Finding Forty Liz talks with her mom, the amazing Toby Glazer, about our shared shyness and determination to overcome it, my 1983 ballet recital when I cried on stage, BOTH of my mom's mink coats, and various Sisterhood secrets. Also, someone named Steven Levine called twice on the house phone AND the fax machine rang on Line 2 during this conversation, which really made me feel like I was in my parents' house.

What’s in a Title?
Al Lubel is an amazing award-winning standup comedian who David Letterman has called "terrifically funny," whose joke Jerry Seinfeld has said is one of the best he's ever heard, and who is the subject of Josh Edelman's award-winning documentary Mentally Al. In this episode Liz and Al discuss the importance (and lack thereof) of names, their common background as lawyers, and Liz's pitch for Al to star in a commercial for Zoloft.
