I met Keren in an online Facebook group and we became fast friends due to our similarities such as both loving the law, being total Type-A planning people and our sons having the same names. Keren is one of my close friends, biggest supporters and is sharing her journey of what it was like to leave the corporate world, launch a full-time business and her experience in being a new mom while climbing the corporate ladder.

Giving Yourself The Gift Of Being An Entrepreneur
Keren says the best gift she could give herself was that of starting her own business and becoming an entrepreneur. Giving yourself the gift of a business meant giving herself more freedom to experience what true work-life balance is, to work without feeling mom guilt, to mother without feeling guilty about not working and much more. There was a dream life of balance that didn’t seem attainable until Keren realized that by working for herself, it was not only attainable but also a reality.
Start Your Journey With A Plan
If you’re thinking about starting a new career, launching a business or chasing your dream, Keren’s biggest piece of advice is to start with a plan. Your plan should include target dates and goals you want to achieve in that time, your financials in regards to what is necessary, attainable, and realistic, and to hold yourself accountable. It will be scary and maybe even a bit stressful, but having a supportive team around you and a plan in place will make it that much more achievable than if you didn’t.
Finding Your Tribe
Keren and I found each other through a Facebook group and she says that most of her speaking engagements and collaborations are coming from Instagram simply by putting herself out there and engaging with other people. Keren has landed speaking engagements, podcast interviews and more just by interacting with other women who are also launching their businesses and looking for support from others.
