Really Good
Imagine above-intelligent and honest dialogue between two middle-aged cousins about classic film, using language as if they were part of the gang of kids from “South Park” (with curse words left uncensored). That’s this podcast—checks all my boxes for a top-notch great show about classic cinema and artists.

Finley’s on Film is one of my top three podcasts!!! The two of you are funny and interesting in your film reviews. For the past few months I have developed a voracious appetite for classic film and your podcast gives me ideas of what to watch. Thank you so so much and never stop putting out content. I thought I knew a lot about movies
Joe and Tom are funny, knowledgeable, congenial, and as corny as it sounds, I felt like I knew them after one of two episodes. Their conversations are sharp and goofy and they are able to balance the two pretty well - I definitely LOL several times within each episode (“ohhhh, that’s good ________”). I also like the concept of focusing on an actor across a few movies - they know their stuff and it’s enjoyable to hear their different takes on movies, especially one I haven’t yet seen. Tom’s audio isn’t as good due to Zoom/Corona issues but I’m still loving the recent eps! For this film lover, this podcast is totally worth the Patreon subscription.
