Today I talk with Fiona Brennan-Scott about her experiences and journey through her working career. She describes herself building up from the bottom of the ladder in IT and administration roles. Fiona started her career in International Marketing.
She describes how she took on too much being a first time mother and had to re-think her approach for her own well-being. She went onto open her own drama studio, which is now 20 years old. Her focus was on life skills and not being the best actor. Fiona talks about how she moved on from drama and focused her time on communication skills along with cooperate training.
Throughout her career Fiona describes how she was always learning, developing and studying to increase her knowledge and understanding. Fiona describes how she likes to be prepared and know 4 times more details than she ever presents, and goes on to explain how this makes her feel in control of the situation and that if she doesn't know an answer its not through lack of trying.
